Successful Transition To Secondary School
At Buckingham Pneuma Academy the welfare of the student is paramount. The transfer from primary to secondary can be a worrying time for everyone. It is very important to be positive about the changes and we encourage our pupils to see this as a new and exciting chapter in their lives. Our highly trained staff are careful to safeguard the best interest of all our students, ensuring that they are loved, cared for and learning.
Making friends can also be a concern for both pupils and their parents. Buckingham Pneuma Academy is a small, friendly and intimate school. There are lots of opportunities to get to know other children in their year as well as other children from other year groups. As parents we can be supportive when we offer our children love, listen to them and take an interest in their school work. Good communication and letting our children know that they have our loving support makes all the difference to settling down and progressing cheerfully through their future years at Buckingham Pneuma Academy.

The Academy Day
Registration is in the morning at 0815hrs. We expect all pupils to arrive at the Academy by 0810hrs and to be at their classes by 0830hrs. School ends at 1500hrs Mondays to Thursdays, and 1250hrs on Fridays.
Pupils must additionally ensure that they are punctual to all lessons as poor punctuality to lessons can result in a truancy mark. The timings of the Academy day are in all pupils’ timetable.
